Introduction

The surface of mounting sample is not smooth. Grinding is to remove excess part of the sample with abrasive materials. Generally, we need rough grinding, fine grinding to final grinding.

Polishing is to use a small amount of polishing powder or polishing liquid to place on polishing cloth, later the sample is polished. Purpose of polishing is to remove the deformation and scratches during the grinding process, resulting in a scratched mirror surface for microscopic analysis of the microstructure.

Product Description

Alpha-600/ 600 is a compact, automatic grinding and polishing system designed for high end grinding and polishing surfaces. Suitable for both 250mm and 300mm diameter applications and provide central force and individual force for the specimens. Optional peristaltic pump dosing system support max. 7 kinds of suspensions/ lubricants. 20 procedures can be set/ stored in memory for common grinding and polishing. High repeatability results can be obtained conveniently and quickly.
